Why it is here

Why Turin is on the list.

A city is listed when there is evidence that people move there. This is the evidence.

  • Istat counts 133,843 foreign citizens among Turin's 853,196 residents on 1 January 2025 (15.7%); the figure counts every foreign citizen, not only expats. [N1] [M1]
  • InterNations' Turin community page lists 8,329 members, 11 monthly events and 13 interest groups; it is a private network. [E1]
  • Vittoria International School, in the centre, runs an upper secondary international school with Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme alongside the Italian programmes. [Turin S1]
