Questions about Córdoba.
How big is Córdoba, and is there an expat community?
Córdoba's capital department had 1,505,250 residents at the 2022 census, 39% of the province's 3,840,905. InterNations, a private expat network, counts 2,571 members in Córdoba and 4 monthly events: a member count, not a count of residents.
What is the weather like in Córdoba?
At the Observatorio station (1991 to 2020), monthly average highs run from 18.4 °C in July to 31.2 °C in January (31.0 in December). Rain peaks from November to February, up to 143.9 mm in December, and stays under 35 mm a month from May to September.
How much is rent for a one-bedroom flat in Córdoba?
One advert for a furnished 40 m² one-bedroom flat in Nueva Córdoba, seen on 15 October 2026, asked ARS 880,000 a month (about US$582 at the Banco Central rate of 14 October), with building fees from ARS 80,000. It was shown as posted 17 days earlier and may be gone. One advert is not an average.
Is Córdoba safe?
Canada's regional warnings name Greater Buenos Aires and Rosario, not Córdoba, though its advice on petty crime and strikes covers the whole country. Not being named is not a safety rating, and we read no city crime figures. Nationally, the Global Peace Index 2026 ranks Argentina 72nd of 163.
Where do I apply for residence in Córdoba?
We did not find which immigration (DNM) office covers Córdoba. For the nomad stay, DNM says people outside the capital apply in person at the delegation or office for their jurisdiction, from inside Argentina. Rentista and pensionado applications start online in RaDEX. Ask DNM which office serves you.
